Stewardship
CHS is committed to making a meaningful impact in agriculture and rural America. Through our stewardship initiatives, we invest in programs that develop new generations of ag leaders, promote ag safety and strengthen hometown communities.
Cooperative value
Cooperatives are owned and governed by members who use its products, supplies, or services and operate in many sectors of the economy. In a cooperative system, people come together to scale buying power, gain access to goods and services and create economic opportunity.
Careers
At CHS, our teams work together to provide the products, services and expertise farmers and cooperatives need to feed a growing population. As a CHS employee, you help empower agriculture by creating connections that bring shared success.
CHS Community Giving
Doing better - together
At CHS, we believe in the power of working together to accomplish great things. Through CHS Community Giving, we support cooperatives with matching grants, provide funding for safety training and encourage employees to share their time and resources to help local communities thrive.
Strengthening hometown communities
On behalf of our farmer and cooperative owners, we partner with organizations to make a greater impact in our local communities. CHS Community Giving will invest $5.3 million by the end of 2023 to strengthen hometown communities. Check out the CHS Stewardship Report to learn what we were able to accomplish in the last three years through strong partnerships and our impact goals for FY 21-23.
CHS Culture of Service
CHS Days of Service
More than 8,000 CHS employees receive paid time off to volunteer each year. Our employees live out the CHS value of cooperative spirit by giving their individual time to support personal causes or volunteering together. In 2020, CHS employees donated more than 17,000 hours through CHS Days of Service.
